I'm a highly self-motivated and goal oriented professional committed to pursuing a long-term career in entertainment design. I have a BFA degree from Art Center College of Design. Offer track record demonstrating strong analytical and problem solving skills, design proficiency, and ability to follow through with projects from inception to completion.
My Career started initially in film and television, working on various projects from feature film pitches to commercials.
For last 6 years, I've been working in the mobile game industry. It's a fast paced and ever-changing industry that keeps me on my toes. Here are some of the roles I've played since jumping into this industry:
Playdom//Mountainview, CA [2010-2011]
- Worked as the lead artist in the wildly popular Facebook game entitled “City of Wonder” - Carried the responsibility of establishing the characters, buildings, and the icons that were essential to the game. - Worked as character lead on very popular Facebook game, “Gardens of Time”
Storm 8//Redwood City, CA [2011-2012]
- Worked as a concept artist and assisted with UI design on their very successful “Restaurant Story” and “Bakery Story”
- Worked as lead artist on “Zoo Story” and “Knight Wars”
- Knight Wars was the studio’s first attempt at non-casual game; I helped establish 3D art pipeline. - I mentored junior and mid-level artists
Funzio//San Francisco, CA [2012]
- Worked as lead artist working closely with the art director in managing over 25 artists and 4 different projects – Modern War, Kingdom Age, Crime City, and Monster Quest.
- Worked closely with Project Managers and Game designers to ensure quality assets.
GREE//San Francisco, CA [2012-2015]
- Work as an art director, in charge of 25 artists, 4 successful projects (Kingdom Age, Crime City, Modern War, and War of Nation)
- 2 projects under development (next-gen games)
- Work closely with the Project Manger, Engineers, UI/UX director to ensure that game stays true to the original vision.
- In charge of creating a new art pipeline for 3D games
Colopl//Tokyo, Japan [2015] - Work as an art director in localizing a wildly popular Japanese mobile game into western market.
- Mentored the Japanese art team to establish aesthetics more appropriate for the western market
- Worked with both outsource and internal team to create assets for both in-game and marketing
Hobo Labs//San Francisco, CA [2015] - Work as studio art director watching over every aspect of the art department.
- Work closely with product/engineer department to ensure a smooth pipeline and delivery of assets
- Work closely with CEO to properly promote the project once released
